The Edmonton Oilers first league game will however be against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Rexall Place on Sunday, October 9th. Gagner will therefore not be rushed to play bearing in mind his position. The team is placing faith in the very capable cover, Swedish rookie, Anton Lander. Lander has really impressed during his training and the coach is likely to reward his hard work and diligence by playing him in Gagner’s position.

It’s not known if this will affect the season but with the help of loyal fans cheering the team on.
